Jackie Lee (Beal) Willis

Jackie Lee (Beal) Willis - age 63 of Lathrop, MO passed away Thursday afternoon, August 1, 2024, at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. Jackie was born on June 14, 1961, the daughter of Charles Clinton and Patricia Ann Ellen (Starkey) Beal in Independence, MO. She grew up in the Kidder and Cameron area and attended Cameron High School. Jackie married Pride Willis on August 11th, 1979, in Cameron, MO. After marriage, Jackie and Pride moved to several places before making their home in the Polo, Cowgill and Lathrop area. In addition to being a great homemaker, Jackie worked as a waitress and at the Polo Casey's for several years. She loved making crafts and blankets, canvas painting, and crocheting. Jackie loved to watch the hummingbirds outside while she gardened. She enjoyed fishing with family, her children and grandchildren were her whole world. Jackie loved listening to music, in particular country and rock music. She was caring, fun, outgoing, ornery, and was always happy to help anyone. Jackie was never afraid to put her two cents in. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; nephews, Clifton Deckler, Jonny Pearl; great-niece, Kyra Lawson; and great nephew, Devin Metcalf. She is survived by her husband, Pride Willis of the home; children: Judy Willis (Jason Johnson) of Hamilton, MO, Patty Bowman (Bob) of Cowgill, MO, Sonja Hopping (Ben Bolling) of Polo, MO, Pride Willis II (Sammie) of Birch Tree, MO, and Shawn Willis (Heather Jesse) of Lathrop, MO; twenty grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings: Joy Pearl of Lampe, MO, Kim Olsen of Branson, MO, Clinton Beal (Kelly) of Cameron, MO, Will Beal (Tammy) of Brookfield, MO, and Wes Beal (Katara) of Brookfield, MO; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
