Jackie Kay (Odor) O'Dell

Jackie Kay (Odor) O'Dell - age 73 of Holt, MO passed away Saturday morning, December 14, 2024, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri. Jackie was born on July 18, 1951, the daughter of Ralph  and Marybelle (Carey) Odor in Kansas City, MO. She was a graduate of Liberty High School. Jackie was proud of her training as a licensed practical nurse. She worked at several nursing homes in the area including Lathrop and the Odd Fellows Home in Liberty. She married Robert O'Dell and he preceded her in death. Jackie loved all of her family.  She had a good heart.  Jackie was proud of what she did and who she was and was never afraid to say what she thought. Jackie will be dearly missed.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert; children, Kenny Daugherty, Mark Daughertly, and Ann Katherine Daughtery- Elliott and sisters, Edith Odor, Joe Ann Odor, and H. Maxine Lawhorn; granddaughter, Autumn. She is survived by her grandchildren, Mercedes, Austin, Kasey, Joe, Laine, Cheyenne, and Shelby; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Jean Odor of Kansas City, MO, Ralph Odor Jr. (Vera Mae) of Liberty, MO, Linda Sue Wilson (Ray) of Liberty, MO; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Arley Cemetery, near Kearney, MO.  There is no scheduled visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop (816) 740-4658. Online guestbook at www.stithfamilyfunerals.com
