Harold Dean "Dino" Harris Obituary

Harold Dean "Dino" Harris - age 87 of Gallatin, MO passed away Monday night, January 3rd, 2022, at Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron, MO. Dean was born on November 13, 1934, the Son of Carl and Lillie (Born) Harris in Weatherby, MO. He attended country school at Liberty Center in rural Daviess County, Altamont Grade School and then Gallatin Schools. Dean was a self-employed farmer and carpenter. He was the perfect bachelor. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and could put one together in no time. Dean loved to water ski and was one of the first people to ski Lake Viking. With their dad along for the ride and brother Jerry at the helm, they would pull Dean all over the lake before it was even full. Dean liked to have fun, dance, and roller skate; he skated until 2002. He loved his family, especially his many nieces and nephews. He was the ultimate cool uncle. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ethel Drummond, Johnnie Harris, George Harris, and Jimmie Harris. He is survived by siblings, Bea Cummins of Oak Grove, MO, Mary Weldon of Kidder, MO, Wayne Harris (Marcella) of Gallatin, MO, and Jerry Harris of Gallatin, MO and numerous nieces and nephews that he considered his children.
