Gary Wayne Shull Obituary

Gary Wayne Shull - age 69 of Polo, MO passed away Friday evening, March 3rd, 2023, surrounded by his family at his home. Gary was born on November 17, 1953, the son of Harrison Henry and Lilly Louise (Berry) Shull in Springfield, MO. He was a 1972 graduate of Van Horn High School. He married Pamela Fagan on September 14th, 2013, in Mendota Minnesota. Gary worked for Armco Steel. He was a member of the Mendota Mdewakanton Dakota Tribal Community of Mendota, MN. His Indian spirit name was "Caske" after the Sioux warrior named the same.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 


Gary was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Charles Goudelock.. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Fagan of the home;  children, Danniel and Diana Shull  of Polo, MO, Laura Felix of Buckner, MO, Wendy Woods of Independence, MO, and Timothy Woods (Tamera) of Pleasant Hill, MO; twelve grandchildren, Charlie Shull, Philip Felix, Courtney Frances, Hunter Molzahn, Christopher Woods, Leah Moreno, Andrew Woods, Brookelle Crowe, Tierney Westbrooks, Cheyenna Booth, Samantha Woods, and Madison Woods; twelve great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Mark Goudelock of Independence, MO, Sarah Goudelock of Independence, MO, and Yvonne Foltz (Mike) of Pocatello, ID; several other extended family members also survive. 
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Tunnel to Towers or St Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 PM to 5 PM, Sunday, March 12th, 2023, at the family home (6766 SW Holstein Rd.
