Frances L. Quinn of Polo, MO was born on July 2nd, 1919, in Longwood, MO. She left us on July 8, 2024. She just celebrated her 105th birthday last week. She always said she didn't want to live that long, but she lived a great life, more good days than bad. She leaves behind two daughters, Judy (Al) Skinner & Debbie (Earl) McCaskey. Four grandchildren, Michele (Mike) Still, Kerry (Scott) Arthur, Brandi (Sean) McNamara & Brady McCaskey. Nine great-grandchildren, Chris (Allison), Tim (Tiffany), Aaron (Keva), Heather (Jason), Haylie (Aaidan), Brendon (Bryce), Nathan, Abby & Maura. One adopted great-granddaughter, Kaity. Five great-great grandchildren Addie, Bryce, Aiden, Ashton & Eli. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Homer (Garland); two brothers, three sisters and two stepsons.
She loved her coffee time with family on the weekends. Sometimes she would have a full house, everyone talking all at once. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, July 28th, 2024, at Prairie Ridge Cemetery, west of Polo. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Polo.
