Florence "Flo" L. Foster

Florence "Flo" L. Foster, age 84, of Kansas City, Missouri,  passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at New Mark Care Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Flo was born November 20, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter of Lester and Ella (Williams) Rotan. She was raised in Des Moines, IA and attended school there.  In addition to being a homemaker she worked as a waitress.  Flo loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats.  She liked antiquing and "garage saleing." Flo was a sweet lady and a good caregiver. She was a loving mom and grandma.   She married Jack Foster on April 8, 1995 at the United Pentecostal Church in Cameron, MO. Jack and Flo retired to Branson, MO and enjoyed traveling in their camper and sightseeing. She will be dearly missed. 

Flo was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Rotan.   Survivors include her husband, Jack of the home; son, Jimmy (Kelly) Willis of Kansas City; stepsons, Jeff (Robin) Foster of Kansas City and Greg Foster of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica and James Owen; great-grandchildren, Angeline and Carter Owen; step-granddaughters, Amanda and Sara; 4 step-great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, November 19th, 2021 at the Turney United Methodist Church in Turney, MO. The family will begin receiving friends one hour prior to the service (1 PM) at the church .Burial following at Turney Cemetery, Turney, MO.
