Eugene "Butch" Ray Baker

Eugene "Butch"  Ray Baker - age 63 of Jamesport, MO passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 12, 2023, at home in Jamesport. Butch was born on December 22, 1959, the son of Robert Eugene and Merrille (Markt) Baker in Kanas City, KS. Butch was a member of the Jamesport Baptist Church, where he married Judy Knoche on August 3rd, 2013. He was a loving, kind man that always cared for his family; his grandchildren were particularly important to him. Butch took pride in his yard and enjoyed gardening. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Butch was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rhonda Barber. He is survived by his wife, Judy of the home; children, Robert Jackson (Rachel) of Bolivar, MO, Matthew Baker (Arrolyn) of Kansas City, KS, Michael Baker of Kansas City, KS, Jason Leemaster (Stephanie) of MO, and Brandon Robb (Frannie) of Jamesport, MO; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca Dunlap (John) of Faucett, MO and Rosa Matthews (Bill) of Oregon, MO; sister-in-law, Betty Ann McCubbin several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.  
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home for final expenses. A Celebration of Life will held at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at the Jamesport Baptist Church, Jamesport, MO.  Inurnment at a later date at Jamesport Masonic Cemetery.
