Her love for learning extended to facilitating the education of others. Elizabeth spent much of her adult life in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where she cared for her aging parents. She liked to cook and shared her skills with family. She loved dogs and had started a hobby with making stained glass art. She was an accomplished musician with a well-trained singing voice and had directed church choirs. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she had also been a teacher, and she had attended the temple.
Elizabeth Clark passed away on May 10, 2024, in Independence, Missouri after an extended stay in a skilled nursing facility, during which her care was under the watchful supervision of her brother David and his wife Jolene.
