Elaine K. Johnson

Elaine K. Johnson - age 62 of Gallatin, MO passed away Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Elaine was born on June 4th, 1959 the daughter of Wayne and Helen (Dykes) Henderson in Saint Joseph, MO. Elaine grew up in Cameron, MO and attended school there.  On August 15th, 2011 she was united in marriage to her longtime companion, Steve Johnson, Sr.  Elaine worked as a press operator at Landmark Manufacturing.  Elaine truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, playing Keno and being a grandma.  Elaine was loving, caring and always laughing.  She could find the humor in every situation. Elaine will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Tina Palmer and a brother, Albert Henderson. Survivors include her husband Steve of the home; son, Steven Johnson, Jr. of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Stephanie Johnson of Gallatin; granddaughters, Nora and Savannah; siblings, Dennis Pritchard of Cameron, Dwayne Henderson of Danville, West Virginia, Jim Henderson of Cameron, Frank Henderson of Louisburg, KS, John (Heather) Henderson of Cameron, Nancy (Lonnie) Jones of Cameron; nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Kickin' Cancer with Kindness in care of the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
