Donna Louise (Angell) Kilgore

Donna Louise Kilgore passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 25, 2025. She was born May 9, 1941 in Mason City, Iowa. She and her late husband have traveled the United States and lived in many states making lots of friends and memories.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean; son, Dennis Lee Kilgore; and brother, Robert Angell. She is survived by sons, Rev. Dean Anthony (Tony) Jr. (Donna) Kilgore of Kingsport, TN, Daniel Robert (Sherrie) Kilgore of Johnson City, TN, and Dustin Allen (Tena) Kilgore of Holt, MO;  daughter-in-law; Wendy Trafton of Winslow, ME; sisters; Linda Craig of Lakewood, WA and Kathy Shannon of Mason City, IA; several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. 

Donna loved her family and will be greatly missed. Her greatest joy in life was to be a mother. She was proud of her sons and her grandchildren. Donna liked to have a beer with her friends at the local bar. Later in life she began going to church with her son regularly and committed her life to Christ. 

The family asks that donations for her remembrance be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital or the special organization of your choice. No services are planned.
