Donna (Cook) Orr

Donna (Cook) Orr - age 78 of Cameron, MO and former resident of Cowgill, MO passed away Monday evening, November 14, 2022, at Polaris Health and Wellness of Cameron in Cameron, MO. Donna was born on August 3, 1944, the daughter of Ray and Gertrude (Terry) Cook in Jamesport, MO. She spent a majority of her life in Cowgill, MO. She married Billy J. Orr on December 8, 1967, at the Cowgill Baptist Church. Donna was a CNA and worked for Shirkey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, MO and other care facilities. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Cowgill, MO. Donna loved expressing herself through art, she especially enjoyed oil painting. Donna was very nurturing and caring to all. She was a strong woman who was known as the glue of the family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberlie Farrar; granddaughter, Krystina Farrar; and siblings, Wayne Cook, Billy Ray Cook, Deanna Hartwig, and Shirley Smith. She is survived by her husband, Billy J. Orr of Liberty, MO; sons, Billy Orr (Shannon) of Lathrop, MO and Shawn Orr (Trina) of Camdenton, MO; grandchildren, Timothy, Joseph, Samantha, Tiffany, Gaige, Paige, Taylor, Maige, Noah, Zaige, Lavaige, and Siraige; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Marylin Culling of Cowgill, MO, Terry Cook (Sandy) of Cowgill, MO, Ronnie Cook (Toni) of Warsaw, MO, and Wanda Petrie of Marshall, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Cowgill United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Cowgill United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:05 PM, Friday, November 18, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home in Polo. Friends may call after 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
