Diana Ivy Obituary

 

Diana Ivy - age 72, of Lincoln, MO passed away Monday evening, February 14th, 2022, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Diane was born on February 21st, 1949, the daughter of Wallace and Addie (Schindler) Loyd in Kansas City, MO.  She grew up in Edgerton, MO and graduated from Dearborn High School. On March 14th, 1969, she was united in marriage to Jack Ivy, Sr. in Kansas City. They lived in Holt for many years, where they raised their family.  Diane worked as a Certified Medical Technician at Shirkey’s Nursing and Rehab in Richmond for many years.  She enjoyed reading and collecting rocks. Diane loved her dogs, Itty and Smoochie. Diane loved watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Diane will be dearly missed.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; brother, Larry Loyd and sister, Debbie Coble.  Survivors include: children, Jack (Tyra) Ivy, Jr. of Fairbanks, AK, Pam York of Cowgill, Tammy Armstrong of Wheeling, and Jason Ivy of Hamilton; sisters, Lavanna Loyd of Blairstown and Lisa Ivy of Warsaw; grandchildren, Curtis (Sarah) Ivy of Fairbanks, LJ Ivy of New Mexico, Michael Ivy of Fairbanks, Kayla (Cody) Hacker of Braymer, Sophia Green of Richmond, Zech (Mariah) Armstrong of Lathrop, and CJ Armstrong of Wheeling, Joey York of Florida; great-grandchildren, Guy, Richii, Lydia, Rue and Noah; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 19th, 2022, at the Polo United Methodist Church in Polo. Burial will be at a later date at Antioch Cemetery near Holt, MO.
