Debra "Deb" Lynn (Gregory) Grigsby

Debra "Deb" Lynn (Gregory) Grigsby - age 61 of Mayview, MO passed away Friday afternoon, April 4, 2025, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Deb was born on June 14, 1963, in Excelsior Springs, MO. She was the daughter of Larry  and Linda  (Murray) Gregory. Deb grew up in Polo and attended Polo Schools. Deb obtained an Associates Degree after high school. She married Rob Grigsby on September 10th, 2016, in Higginsville. Deb worked for the United States Postal Service in Mayview and the USPS Stamp Fullfillment Services in Kansas City, MO . She loved baking and decorating cakes; especially for her grandkids birthdays. Deb adored her grandkids. She made the best brownies. Deb enjoyed the water and swimming, feeding the birds and gardening.  Deb will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Deb was preceded in death by her father, Larry Gregory and her maternal grandparents, Mason and Linnie Murray. She is survived by her husband, Rob Grigsby of Mayview, MO; her mother, Linda Gregory of Polo; children, Josh Dehn (Amanda) of Richmond, MO, Jordan Dehn of Richmond, MO, and Rachel Dehn (Stanley Rosekrans) of Wellington, MO; five grandkids, Carson Rosekrans, Bella Rosekrans, Oliver Rosekrans, Olivia Dehn, and Chloe Dehn; and her best friend of 50 years, Lisa Butler; other extended family members and her dog, Lillian also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family (make checks payable to Robert Grigsby) in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Deb's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Polo.  The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 3 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Zimmerman Cemetery, south of Polo.
