Dean R. Sackman

Dean Ray Sackman – age 91 of Venice, FL passed away Tuesday morning, October 23rd, 2018.  He was born on June 9th, 1927 the son of Forrest and Elizabeth (White) Sackman in Polo, MO.  Dean was a 1945 graduate of Polo High School.  He enlisted in the armed forces after high school and served both in the United States Navy and United States Airforce.  Dean was a company pilot for Kent Feed & Seed and Evinrude Outboard Motor Company.  He enjoyed flying. Dean retired to Venice, FL and never forgot his upbringing in Caldwell County, Missouri.  He was a member of Venice United Church of Christ. 

Mr. Sackman was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Lou Roberts, son Billy Ray Sackman, son Jimmy Dean Sackman and second wife Marilyn Waddell. 

Survivors include twin sister Donna Marley of Polo, MO and other extended family members. 

Memorial Contributions in memory of Dean may be made to Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer.
