David Olson

David Olson - age 95 of Gallatin, Missouri passed away Monday morning, November 14, 2022, at his grandson's home. David was born on November 26, 1926, the son of Benny  and Theresa Rosine (Hanson) Olson in LaCrosse, WI. He grew up in Westby, Wisconsin and graduated from high school there. David served in the Unites States Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved his country and was all American. He married the love of his life, Edna Ruth McMilllan on November 25th, 1961. David loved  golf and football; he was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. Among his favorite things to do was eat popcorn, watch football and drink a beer. David had a good sense of humor and was a character; he was known for his puns and jokes. He will be dearly missed by his family. 

David was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Olson, brothers, Rodney and Roger Olson; and great-grandson, Kacyn Wayne. He is survived by his children, Scott McMillan Olson (Emily) of Spokane, WA and Sharon Marie Wayne (Jim) of Gallatin, MO; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
