Damien Evans

Damien Evans - age 31 of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday , February 25, 2025, at home in Independence. Damien was born on May 23, 1993, the son of Michael Evans and Carolyn Harris in Liberty, MO. He grew up in Lathrop and attended Lathrop High School . He married Breanna Koelliker on October 16th, 2020, in Raytown, MO. He currently worked at Mid-States Distributing in Lee's Summit, MO. Damien was hardworker. He was a diehard Chiefs and Longhorns fan. He also enjoyed NASCAR. Damien was a jokester and loved his family. Damien will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Damien was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Stanley Evans, and maternal grandparents Johnnie and Wilma Harris. He is survived by his wife, Breanna Evans of the home; daughter, Chloe Evans; his mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Geoff Young of Easton, KS; father, Michael Evans of Kansas City; sisters, Stephanie Edemann of Kansas City, MO and Jacquelin Ohl of Sunny Vale, CA; his paternal grandmother, Mary Evans of Lathrop, MO; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Breanna Evans to help with final expenses. A service celebrating Damien's life will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:30 PM prior to the service.
