Connie Mae (Dearien) Dixon, age 70, of Jamesport, Missouri, passed away Wednesday morning, March 18, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Connie was born on April 7, 1955, in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Andrew and Catherine (Hodge) Dearien. She graduated from DuPont High School in Belle, West Virginia, in 1974. On March 30, 1974, she married Gary Dixon.
Connie found joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments. She had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found working in her yard or tending to her flowers, creating beauty wherever she went. She shared many happy hours woodworking alongside Gary, building not only projects but memories together. Above all, Connie’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished her grandchildren deeply and took pride in making her home a warm and welcoming place, thoughtfully decorating both her house and yard for all to enjoy. Connie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her creativity, and the love she gave so freely. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frankie Dearien, Freddy Dearien, and Herman Dearien. She is survived by her husband Gary Dixon of the home; daughters, Kristy Dixon of Jamesport, MO and Andrea Dixon of Jamesport, MO; grandchildren, Kenzy Horton of Jamesport, MO, Landen Dodds of Jamesport, MO, and Addison Dodds of Jamesport, MO; sisters, Rosalie Sergent of Charleston, WV and Carolyn “Blackie” Mundy of Nitro, WV; nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
