Claude "Hooch" "Bubba" Hutchison

Claude "Hooch" "Bubba" Hutchison - age 74 of Jamesport, MO passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Claude was born on April 17, 1949, the son of Elbert and Vada (Miller) Hutchison in Trenton, MO. He grew up in Trenton and Oklahoma. Claude served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict from 1968 to 1970. He worked in construction. He married Marilyn Earles on May 5th, 2000, at the Jamesport Baptist Church.  Claude had a big heart, always had a positive attitude and was easy going. He loved his grandchildren and building things. Claude will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Claude was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Hailey Rhodes; great-granddaughter, Tempurance Hutchison; and brother, Delbert Hutchison. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Hutchison of Jamesport, MO; children, Christy Rhodes (Stan) of Maysville, MO, Tim Hutchison of Leon, IA, Jim Hutchison (Jessica) of Leon, IA, and Jamie Hutchison of Leon, IA;  grandchildren, Jake Rhoad (Abby), Levi Rhodes (Janelle), McKenzie Grippando (Bradley), Trinity Rhodes, Paisley Hutchison, Ean Hutchison, Autumn Hutchison, Titan Hutchison, Janessa Hutchison, Joyclen Hutchison, Kylie Hutchison, and Jacob Hutchison; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Hutchison (Lori) of NE, Charles Hutchison (Darlene) of Trenton, MO, and Robert Hutchison (Brenda) of Trenton, MO; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Wounded Warriors Project or The Parkinson's Foundation in care of the funeral home. At Claude's request, no services will be held.
