Christopher "Chris" Dale Dick

Christopher "Chris" Dale Dick - age 23 of Lathrop, MO passed away Thursday afternoon, November 16, 2023, in Lathrop, MO. Chris was born on September 20, 2000, the son of Matthew and Adrienne (Cazzell) Dick in Liberty, MO. He graduated from Lathrop High School in 2019. Chris worked for Midwest Scrap Management. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, and the outdoors. Chris was known for being fun loving, and having a big heart. He would do anything for anybody. He would give you the shirt off his back if you wanted it. Chris will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Chris is survived by his parents, Matthew Dick (Heidie Hennen) of Lathrop, MO and Adrienne (Robert) McKinley of Lathrop, MO; siblings, Mariah Dick of Lawson, MO, Lanie Dick of Lathrop, MO, Joseph Dick of Lathrop, MO, Chelsey McKinley of Kansas City, MO, Trinidy McKinley of Kansas City, MO, and Ariana McKinley of Kansas City, MO; his fiancé, Johnathan Burgess of Lathrop, MO; maternal grandparents, Kevin and Sherry Cazzell of Lawson, MO; paternal grandparents Dale and Jeanne Dick of Hosmer, SD; great-grandparents, Howard And Helen Burns of Polo, MO, Great-grandmother, Betty Cazzell of Excelsior Springs, MO; uncle Pat Dick of MN, uncle Jason Dick (Amanda) of IA, uncle Travis Dick of MN, uncle Phillip Dick (Nikki) of MN, aunt Terese Wakkinen (Ryan) of TX, aunt Nicole Schugel (Eric) of TX, uncle Timmy Dick (Morgan) of CA, uncle Jeremiah Cazzell of Lawson, MO, and uncle Aaron Cazzell of Lawson, MO; other extended family members also survive.  
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Department of Conservation in care of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at Noon, Friday, November 24, 2023, at Mosby Baptist Church, Mosby, MO. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the church.
