Chasidy Ann Renne (Chas) - age 40 of Gallatin, MO passed away Sunday morning, August 25, 2024, at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri after a hard fought battle with cancer. Chas was born on April 19, 1984, the daughter of Leslie Todd and Kimberly Ann (Terry) Renne in Chillicothe, MO. She was a 2002 graduate of Gallatin High School. Chas had worked as a bank teller, an administrative assistant at McWilliams Funeral Home and most recently had worked at Access II in Gallatin. She was a member of the Gallatin United Methodist Church. Chas loved riding the ranger, lounging at Lake Viking and shopping for her kids. Most of all she loved spending time with her kids and family. Chas was the "cool mom" and a second mom to her kid's friends. She was a great daughter, mother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. Always laughing and making others laugh with her quick wit and great sense of humor. Chas will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Chas was preceded in death by her father, Todd Renne; brother, Derek Renne; paternal grandmother, Judy O'Brien; maternal grandfather, Walter Junior Terry and step-grandfather, David Ness. She is survived by her children: Mason Lynch of Gallatin, MO, Katie Lynch of Gallatin, MO and Kimalee Houser of Trenton, MO; her mother, Kim Ness (Adam) of Gallatin, MO; sister, Lindsey Renne of Gallatin, MO; stepsister, Courtney Hillyard (John) of Union Star, MO; paternal grandfather, Harry Renne (Marie) of Gallatin, MO; maternal grandmother, Nancy Terry Thompson (John) of Gallatin, MO; step-grandmother, Mary Ness of Strasburg, CO; niece, Audriana; niece, Ameira; nephew, Walker and niece, Wrenlee; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kickin' Cancer with Kindness in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Chasidy's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Gallatin United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday evening, also at the church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallatin.
