Charles Leon "Doc" Armes - age 83 of Lawson, MO passed away Friday night, January 16, 2026, at Cameron Nursing Center in Cameron, MO. Charles was born on December 5, 1942, the son of George Wilbur and Charlene Elizabeth (Baker) Armes in Bloomfield, MO. He grew up in Lawson and later graduated from Lawson High School. Charles worked as a Landscaper and Truck driver. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, driving it all over. Charles really enjoyed taking the time to go coon hunting. He truly loved farming, where he raised many cattle and livestock. Charles will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Willene Phillips; and his infant daughter, Brenda Kay. He is survived his children, Vickie Stevens (Joey) of Mosby, MO, Kellie Jo Armes of Mosby, MO, Richard Armes of Lawson, MO, Janet Diane Rogers of Lawson, MO, and David Armes (Shawn) of Lawson, MO; Several Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; two siblings, Joe Armes of Hollister, MO and Linda Marshall of Dexter, MO; and his aunt, Mary Williams of Lawson, MO. Other extended family members and friends also survive.
