Carolyn J. Grisamore, age 82, a lifelong resident of Jamesport, MO, passed away Friday morning, May 31st, 2019 at the Ignite Medical Resort in Kansas City, MO. Carolyn was born on December 15th, 1936 the daughter of Herbert and Helen (Cochlin) Trimble in Jamesport, MO. She was a graduate of the Jamesport High School class of 1954. Carolyn was united in marriage to Max Grisamore on March 15th, 1959.
Carolyn worked briefly at Reed Seeds in Jamesport, MO prior to having children. She was a devoted farm wife who loved living in the country. Carolyn often brought meals to Max while he was in the field. She was known for cooking big meals and being an animal lover, especially dogs and cats. She was a member of the Jamesport United Methodist Church. She was devoted to her family and will be missed dearly.
Mrs. Grisamore was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Max. Those left to mourn her passing include: daughter, Denise (Stephen) Town of Maryville, MO; daughter, Stacey (Alan) Heyne of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Hunter, Parker and Alaina Heyne of Kansas City, MO; brother, Bill (Betty) Trimble of Kansas City; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jamesport United Methodist Church or the Green Hills Animal Shelter in Trenton. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 3rd, 2019 at the Jamesport United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service also at the church.
