Buddy Maupins

Buddy Maupins - age 81 of Trenton, MO passed away Thursday afternoon, June 24th, 2021 at his home in Trenton, with loving family at his side. Buddy was born on May 6th, 1940 the son of Claude and Millie (Massengill) Maupins in Westville, OK.  He grew up and attended school in Westville and Kanas City. On December 13th, 1978 he was united in marriage to Betty Ballard in Plattsburg, MO.  Buddy worked as a hot roofer.  He was fun to be around, liked to tease and had a great sense of humor.  Buddy never got mad.  He loved golfing and spending time with friends and family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jakie Maupins, Vivian Dorsey, Eldon Garmello and infant brother, Bobby Ray; son, Kevin Ballard and a granddaughter, Patricia Ballard. Survivors include wife Betty of the home; daughter, Shelly Ballard (Kirk Greaves) of Plattsburg; daughter, Kelly (Ronnie) Hamilton of Trenton; brother, Dean (Dee) Maupins of Jackson, TN; sister, Anita (Vernon) Hayes of Caldwell, KS; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
