Billy Orndorff Obituary

Billy Orndorff -age 82 of Cameron, MO passed away Sunday afternoon, May 19th, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Billy was born on February 17th, 1937 the son of Oral and Gussie (Beverage) Orndorff in Mercer County, MO. He grew up in Princeton and attended Princeton High School. On March 17th, 1958 he was united in marriage to Donna Ratliff in Trenton, MO. They made their home in Brimson until moving to Cameron in 2015. Billy loved to worship his Lord as he served him in countless ways, wherever he was needed, including as a teacher, song leader, and also a Deacon at Melbourne Baptist Church. Billy and his wife, Donna, became members of Kidder Baptist Church in 2016. He retired from Nestle as a supervisor after 26 years. Billy was a true family man with a heart of gold. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. Billy loved his kids and grandkids and did everything for his family. He never knew a stranger. He loved to go fishing despite that he would not eat fish himself.

Mr. Orndorff was preceded in death by: his parents; 6 sisters; 2 brothers; and a great-granddaughter, Karli Jo Holcomb. Survivors include: wife, Donna of the home; son, Alan (Georgette) Orndorff of Brimson, MO; daughter, Rise (Carl) Holcomb of Pattonsburg, MO; son, Dennis (Pam) Orndorff of Chariton, IA; brother, Phillip (Kathy) Orndorff of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Carolyn (Bob) Cooper of Sun City, AZ; sister, Madelyn Miles of Cameron, MO; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

Billy's wishes were for cremation and no services to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Comfort Care Hospice in Cameron in care of Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin.
