Bill "Billy" Farris

Bill "Billy" Farris - age 56, of Ludlow, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024, at his home in Ludlow. Billy was born on September 14, 1968, the son of James and Betty Jo Baker (Butler) Farris in Iola, KS. He grew up and attended school in the Polo area until joining the United States Army. He married Cynthia Peirce on December 25th, 2011, in Ludlow. Billy was a master mechanic and enjoyed rebuilding old cars.  He could do just about anything and was very talented at many things. He passed those talents on to his children. Billy will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, James Farris; children, BJ Farris and Grace Farris and grandchild, Bayla Farris. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Farris; children: Stephanie Holloway of Liberty, MO, Timothy Farris of Smithville, MO, Brandon Farris of Raytown, MO, Gavin Farris of Ludlow, MO, Anthony Farris of Ludlow, MO, Little Bill Farris of Ludlow, MO, Donnie Farris of Ludlow, MO and Zavier Jones of Los Angeles, California; three grandchildren: Arianii, Armani, and Declan; his mother, Betty Jo Baker Butler Rathbun of Independence, MO; and siblings: Diane Miller (Pat) of Independence, MO, Melady Brooks of Independence, MO, Jimmy Farris (Marcia) of Rayville, MO, Margaret Stockton, and Steven Farris (Michelle) of Richmond, MO; other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses in care of Mikey Tate. The family will gather with friends from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at Stith Funeral Home in Polo.  Military honors will be at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.  Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Polo (660) 354-2214.
