Beulah Segar

Beulah Segar - age 93 of Polo, MO passed away Sunday morning , May 04, 2025, at her daughter's home in Kirksville. Beulah was born on July 25, 1931, the daughter of Alfred and Clio (Tade) Turner in rural Queen City, MO, where she grew up and attended Queen City High School. She married Neil Segar, Sr. on March 19th, 1948, in Lincoln, Nebraska. They lived in Omaha, north of Hamilton and Kingston, before moving to Polo in 1979. Serving God was her first priority and the rest fell into place. Family was a very close second. She loved quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and farming alongside her husband. Beulah will be dearly missed and forever remembered and loved.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Eva Segar and Mary Runkle. She is survived by her children: JR Segar (Sidney) of Polo, MO, Ruth Johnson of Kirksville, MO, Clarence Segar (Rogene) of Henryetta, OK, Wilbur Segar of Polo, MO, and Martha Galloway (Morgan) of Thermopolis, WY; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great Grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Mirabile Cemetery  in care of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 9, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Polo.  The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Mirabile Cemetery.
