Ben Chamberlain - age 74 of Altamont, MO passed away Monday morning, January 19, 2026,at Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron, MO. Ben was born on February 16, 1951, the son of Henry Eugene and Anna May (Frazier) Chamberlain in Battle Creek, MI. He grew up in Gallatin and attended Gallatin Schools. Ben served in the United States Army at the end of the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. He worked as a truck driver for Butler Transportation and Dorhn for many years. Ben enjoyed spending time on his property and living in retirement. He enjoyed time spent in California visiting with his family and camping at Feather River Canyon. Ben will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Jessica Chamberlain. He is survived by his son, David Chamberlain (Courtney) of Easton, MO; grandchildren, Kymper Chamberlain, Louden Chamberlain, and Ryker Chamberlain; siblings, Hank Chamberlain, Tom Chamberlain, Paula Chamberlain, Bonnie Blazek, Gloria Moon, and Tammy Chamberlain; niece, Melissa Wilkerson. Several other nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
