Sharon Kay Duncan – age 74 of Kansas City passed away Monday, April 16th, 2018 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born on January 9th, 1944 in Polo, MO the daughter of Donald and Fern (Phillips) McElwee. Sharon attended school in Polo. She was employed at Overland Park Regional Medical Center for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; significant other, Dave Jones; son, Patrick Marshall; brother, Terry McElwee. Those left to mourn her passing include: daughter, Theresa Whaley (Dave Blevins); of Kansas City, KS; son, Doug Whaley of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren: Chaz Budd, Jeff Budd, Dillon (Katie) Budd, Jessie Budd, Cassey Whaley and Courtney Whaley; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald McElwee.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 20th, 2018 at Bethel Cemetery south of Polo, MO. No scheduled visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Stith Family Funeral Home in Polo, MO. www.stithfamilyfunerals.com
