Robert Eads Obituary

Robert D. Eads - age 83 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 at his home in Independence. Robert was born on April 13th, 1936 the son of Russell and Sylvia (Swofford) Eads in Gallatin. He was a graduate of Gallatin High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Robert obtained degrees in mathematics and animal husbandry. While attending college he was a member of the FarmHouse fraternity. He was a self-employed carpenter. In his younger years Robert enjoyed racing stock cars. He was united in marriage to Debra Elliott.

Mr. Eads was preceded in death by his wife, Debra; parents; daughter, Kelly Eads. Survivors include: son, Dennis Eads of Kansas City; daughter, Sue Lynn Thomas Of Manhattan, NY; son, Robin (Tammi) Eads of Columbia; daughter, Sally (James) Kirkpatrick of Gallatin; brother, John of Independence; sister, Jean Heman of Green Castle, MO; sister, Mary (Louis) Holbrook of Gallatin; sister, Karen (Danny) Critten of Gallatin; grandchildren: Levi, Billy, Jessi, Sara and Kelsey; great-grandchildren and other extended family members survive.
