Norman Hartford Byers, 90 of Cowgill, MO entered eternal life April 19th, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Norman entered this life June 27th, 1925 the son of Jake and Blanch Byers in Cameron, MO. On November 1st, 1976 he was united in marriage to Mary Alice Graham in Miami, Oklahoma. In 1976 Mr. Byers and his family moved to Cowgill, MO and he opened up a repair shop there that is now run by his son, David Byers.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Ellen Powell, Minnie Hays, and Beatrice Rice, brothers Nathan Byers and Hans Byers, son Norman Charles Byers and daughter Rose Ballard.

He is survived by his wife of the home, a brother Edward R. Byers of Barstow, CA, a son Edward R Byers (Cheryl) of Phelan, CA, son David (Penny) Byers of Cowgill, MO, and a son Paul Byers of Harrisburg, PA. 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive Norman.

Nothing made Norman happier than to spend time with his family, creating smiles for other kids in the community and building things for people to enjoy.

Noman's wish was for there to be no services. Cremation entrusted to Stith Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Polo, MO.
