Melissa Jane (Ryan) Linn - age 68 of Lathrop, MO passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 10th, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. Cremation entrusted to Stith Family Funeral Home in Lathrop, MO. Online guestbook at www.stithfamilyfunerals.com

Melissa was born on February 28th, 1950 the daughter of Billy J. and Lois E. (McHone) Ryan in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Westport High School. Melissa worked in finance for Citi Group for 23 years. She was strong, independent, generous and loving. She enjoyed her neighbors and friends. Melissa especially enjoyed living in Lathrop. She had a great sense of humor. She was a happy and friendly person. Melissa will be missed dearly by her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tom Ryan. Survivors include: daughter, Summer (Anthony) Adamo; sister, Debra (Conrad) Chavez; sister, Ramona (Rodney) Greer; sister, Kathy (Ken) Rizor; and grandsons: Dominick, Anthony and Gregory. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
