Maria Luisa Merritt

Maria Luisa Merritt, 31, was born in Guatemala City on August 11, 1987, and unexpectedly passed away at her parents' home in Boynton Beach, Florida, on February 27, 2019.  Maria was a graduate of American International College and was pursuing graduate studies.  She loved family, sports, the beach and fishing.  She was a charismatic, talented, loving young woman, who served in administrative positions at several health facilities in Florida and spent the last year of her life working for the family ranch east of Gallatin.  Maria was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Amos and Anne Ulmer of Bern, Kansas, and Charles Olin and Elizabeth Merritt of Gallatin.  Maria is survived by her parents Robert and Johna Merritt, her brother Cristian and many relatives and friends across the United States who will all miss her incredible energy and spirit.  Celebration of life service: 3 PM Saturday, August 10th, 2019, Stith Funeral Home, Gallatin.
