Helen M. Swope -age 60 of Braymer, MO passed away Saturday night, November 23rd, 2019 at her home in Braymer. Helen born on August 13th, 1959 the daughter of Ira Leon and Velma Jewel (Roberts) McPherson in Lexington, MO. She was a 1978 graduate of North Kansas City High School. Helen was a CAN at nursing homes in Plattsburg, Lathrop and Smithville. In March of 1996 she was united in marriage to Hubert Lee Swope Sr.

Mrs. Swope was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Darrell McPherson and sister, Ellen Jones. Survivors: sister, Jackie Sharp of Gladstone; brother, Dale McPherson of Trenton; brother, Donald McPherson of North Caroline; daughter, Carrie Cockriel of Braymer; daughter, Velma (Jason) Arends of Smithville; son, Brian Harris of Trimble; grandchildren: Draven, Keven, Steven, Sara and Ariana; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
