Hale E. Gibson, age 91 of rural Kingston, MO entered eternal life Sunday afternoon, July 16th, 2017 at his
home after a lengthy illness. Hale entered this life May 8th, 1926 the son of Edward and Esther (Tattershall) Gibson in Caldwell County, Missouri. He attended Hazel View Country School and graduated from Kingston High School. Hale honorably served our country in the United States Marine Corps until being discharged for medical reasons. He farmed all of his life and had an apple orchard. Early in Hale’s life he enjoyed traveling. He was a tender-hearted person that loved the outdoors and animals. He especially enjoyed taking care of his cattle. Hale enjoyed fishing up until his health wouldn’t allow him to anymore. He loved watching the hummingbirds and westerns, reading his bible and eating at Golden Corral. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Perdue and sister, Liz Gibson. Survivors include: nephew, Ray Tittle and wife Marion of Saint Joseph, MO; nephew, Gary Tittle and wife Debbie of Lee’s Summit, MO; niece, Carol Wonka and husband Frank of Wichita, KS and the Pitman family that were close friends, whom he also considered his adopted family.

Memorial gifts are suggested to the Caldwell County Foundation- Cancer Assistance Fund in loving memory of Hale E. Gibson and may be left at or mailed to Stith Family Funeral Home 301 E. Elm Street Polo, MO 64671. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery west of Hamilton, MO.
